In 2017, Our Lead Engineer and Founder, Kenny Waldner brought his vision of building high quality, affordable silencers to life.  

After starting as a one man show, demand began to build to the point that a small and passionate team had to be brought together.  Every one of us at Prairie Tactical takes great pride and care in all aspects of the development of our silencers.  From design and material selection, manufacturing to dealer development.  We look at our product as a whole, not just another black tube sitting in a display case. 

Every individual component that comes off our CNC machines is inspected and gauged to our own exacting standards.  Standards so tough, our machinists had to build their own fixtures and gauges to meet our requirements! 

By May of 2022, a growing dealer network led to Prairie Tactical moving into a new, larger, manufacturing facility in Mitchell, SD to meet the needs of our enthusiastic customers.

The passion of one man has become the mission of an entire company.  Every member of the Prairie Tactical Team is dedicated to bringing the highest quality, value and accuracy in silencers to our customers.
